New Partnership Launches Propel Ukraine Boot Camp

5th February 2026

A new partnership between Propel HealthTech International and the UK-Ukraine TechBridge has been formed to deliver a dedicated support programme for Ukrainian innovators.

The UK-Ukraine TechBridge is a strategic partnership between the UK Government, Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, and Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, designed to foster stronger connections between the two countries’ technology ecosystems.

As part of this collaboration, the Propel Ukraine Boot Camp—a first-of-its-kind, fully online programme—has been launched to support Ukrainian healthtech innovators looking to enter the UK market.

Applications are now open for the boot camp, which aims to attract some of the world’s most promising health innovations to the UK. Yorkshire and Humber will be the first region to explore the adoption of these innovations and their real-world impact within the NHS. The partnership will also create new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses seeking to invest and grow in the UK.

The online programme is built around the needs of innovators and offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) targeted support across five core areas critical to successful UK market entry:

  • Understanding the NHS
  • Legal considerations
  • Finance and funding
  • Networking and partnerships
  • Growth and spread

Participants gain access to subject matter experts and are introduced to NHS stakeholders, alongside the wider regional HealthTech ecosystem, to help refine their solutions and prepare for adoption. They will also have access to Propel Connect, a dedicated platform enabling participants to network, ask questions, and connect directly with experts.

Through initiatives such as Propel Healthtech International, Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber continues to strengthen the region’s reputation as a gateway for international health innovation, while supporting the NHS to adopt solutions that deliver meaningful, real-world impact for patients and services.

Maria Rubstova, Project Manager at Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, said:

“This Boot Camp is about helping Ukrainian innovators understand the NHS from the inside and giving them a real opportunity to engage with one of the world’s most complex healthcare systems.

We also recognise the challenges innovators are facing in Ukraine itself, which is why we have designed an online version of the programme — so participants can access expert knowledge in a format that works for them and continue moving forward despite difficult circumstances.
